Stone Smoked Porter
Smoked beers present a unique option for us in the US – while not a long-standing tradition as far as beers, we in the south have been barbecuing for decades. So, we’re familiar with the delights that dark, burnt and charred flavors can bring to our favorite things. Taste the Stone Smoked Porter and smoke one with us.
This porter has an aroma like a forest fire, with a chocolate kick. There’s no hiding the bitterness of roasted malts and silky toffee and nuts, carried by mild carbonation. At 5.9% ABV you’ll find a slight alcohol burn, and through the finish you’ll find the smoke and grassy hops.
This is tasty brew that I’d definitely buy again, and i’d pair it with some ribs on any day.
