World of Beer – Westchase
If you’re ever in the Westchase area of Tampa and are feelin’ thirsty make sure you stop by World of Beer, or as the locals and regulars like to call it, WOB . This is any beer lovers heaven on earth. With over 500 beers from around the world to choose and usually 30 on tap that are constantly rotating, you are for sure to find at least one you like.
Not only do they carry one of the largest selections of beer than almost any other bar in the area, they also have great live entertainment, a very large outdoor area and you can order food from anywhere in the plaza and have it delivered to you right at the bar. If you are with other beer lovers but aren’t one yourself, right next door you will find ‘Blend’ which is WOB’s wine bar.
Most beers are much higher in alcohol content than your standard Bud, Busch Light or Miller Light (which are not counted among the selection) so although beer prices are a little steeper, you get what you pay for in quality.
If you become a regular, believe me it’s very hard not, make sure you join their Loyalty Club. Not only do they give you free gifts along your tasting journey of 500 beers, you can drink your way to a party for you and several of your closet friends which includes a good amount towards your bar tab for the evening. Not to mention you have access to lots of other perks exclusively for Loyalty Card carrying members.
So next time your in the mood for a good time with endless beer choices and good entertainment, make sure to check WOB out.
